It is with Deep Regret that we announce that
Shipmate Area Life Vice President Warwick Camp
Crossed the Bar on Saturday 25th October 2008
Details of the funeral will be posted when they are known
Warwick was a real character and proper gentleman,
his knowledge of the RNA rule book was vast,
he will be sadly missed
The Funeral of ALVP Warwick will take place on Friday 7th November at Kernow Chapel, Penmount Crematorium, Truro at 10.30.
It is the families wish that if possible a Guard of Honour and Standards be paraded.
No Flowers but donations to the Cornwall Hospice via the Funeral Director. |

Shipmate David has been honoured by HM The Queen in the Birthday Honours List by the award of an MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) following many years of selfless work on behalf of the Association. A much deserved award for the sterling work David has done promoting the Royal Naval Association

The Street Branch are pleased to be hosting the 2010 Annual General Meeting and Area Meeting on Saturday the 30th January 2010.
The meeting will take place in the Street Royal British Legion Club Ltd. Farm Road
There is ample car parking facilities in `Clarks Village Car Park' unfortunately there are no concessions.
The Royal British Legion Club will be open from 10.30 onwards - Committee Meeting will commence at 11.00.
As there are many, many food outlets in Street we shall not be doing lunches. How to get there - on entering `STREET' follow signs for `Clarks Village'
We look forward to welcoming you all to `STREET' and hope you enjoy the chance of shopping in one of the largest Shopping outlets in the UK.
I will make the plea as always please let us know whether your branch will be attending or not, all branches ask this but it seems to fall on deaf ears for some branches.
All my details for phone calls, Emails etc. are above so there is no excuse for not responding.
The usually Tea and Stickies will be available after the meeting providing you book them - you know the rules No returns No Tea!

As last year the booking forms have been modified due to the request of branches who attend, they requested that the monies be paid in two payments. A £20.00 non returnable deposit will be required when booking.
Cost for 2010 is as follows:
Two night package without Sunday lunch will be £108.00
Two night package which includes Sunday lunch will be £120.00
The three night package which includes the Sunday night meal and Monday morning breakfast will be £130.00
Branches within a 10 mile radius may be allowed to attend the Wine Reception, Formal Dinner and Sunday lunch if there is room available Cost will be £40.00 or just the Sunday
